4-H Enrollment

4-H provides opportunities for both youth and adults.  4-H is open to youth members in grades 5-year old kindergarten through one year beyond high school graduation and not to extend beyond the age of 19 as of December 31st of the enrollment year regardless of where you live.  4-H also has openings for volunteer leaders who wish to help youth grow in 4-H.  If you have questions or for further 4-H information, you can contact us in the Extension Langlade County Office at (715) 627-6238.

Langlade County 2023-24 4-H enrollment begins after September 1, 2024

All enrollment is done online!

Re-enrollment

4-H Online 2.0 is the online enrollment and registration system for Wisconsin 4-H. This is where you enter family and individual information that is used by your county and the state 4-H offices to manage and record your participation in the 4-H Youth Development program.

If you need a little refresher on how to re-enroll, you can find a guide here! Be sure to read the brief descriptions on each screen while re-enrolling, these are very helpful to explain that step in the enrollment process.

Helpful Hints!

  • Your family login and password will be the same as you used last year. If your password does not work, you can click on the Reset Password link on the login page and you will be emailed a new one.
  • Youth Enrollments:
    • Currently enrolled in 5K-2nd grade: Must enroll in Cloverbuds only.
    • Currently enrolled in 3rd-12th & One year past High School: Must select at least one project area. May enroll in as many as project areas as one may like to learn.
  • Adult Enrollments: Enrollment will not be finalized until all certification pieces are complete. Final certification will allow you to participate as a leader and volunteer at 4-H activities, projects, or club meetings. Adult volunteers are also covered under the Extension insurance when acting as a 4-H Volunteer.
    • Certification Pieces Include: VIP training, Title IX reporter Training, Background Check, & Mandated Reporter Training
  • Remember: There are no project levels! When choosing projects, you will notice that there are no “levels” in the projects. The new 4hOnline 2.0 doesn’t allow for members to register for individual project levels. Just register for the main project (i.e. if you were in Beef 2, just register for Beef).  When choosing project resources, order the level of literature that matches your needs.
  • The Langlade County Project Guide lists all the projects Langlade County 4-H offers along with all available resources for that project.  The project guide is available as downloadable PDF (32 pages).  Please refer to the project guide when planning your 4-H year!  If you would like a printed copy of the project guide, stop by the office or let Stephanie know (715-627-6238 or loderbauer@wisc.edu)!
  • You may re-enroll in Langlade County 4-H at any time. HOWEVER, enrolling by November 1st, will ensure that your family received important communication for projects, activities, and all other events.
